The layout includes an open frontage for outside seating to the street, a secure external play area to the side for the community space, and a large open courtyard for the residents.

The design picks up on the local Mapesbury Conservation area with banded brick and canted bay windows that direct views to the listed Willesden Green Station diagonally opposite.
