Borough City Of London Size 14 Flats Retail Client Willowacre Redevelopment of a 1960’s office building at the corner of Minories and Portsoken Street to create 14 flats above a ground floor coffee bar. The proposals add 2 new floors to better relate to the scales of surrounding development with setbacks to allow terracing. Existing facades are reclad in insulated render with aluminium lined openings. Projecting balconies for the corner units facing onto the Minories are timber faced to the front for privacy with glazed sides to allow open aspect to the City to the North and Tower Bridge and the River Thames to the south. |
