Borough Redbridge Size 35 Flats Client Delfo London. D&B. Photos Morley Von Sternberg 8 storey gateway design of 35 flats on the corner of Ilford High Road and Aldborough Road – completion spring 2024. The gridded elevations include inset brick panels with alternating black and white stripes that pick up on the lines of photographic contact sheets alluding to Ilford’s history of making world class black and white photographic film. Subsequent developments alongside stretching to the new Seven Kings cross-rail link step up in height to create a slender bank of height along the railway that runs behind. |
